Products including existing releases
To add a pre-existing single(s) to an EP or album, create a new release in the desired format (ie. EP, Album). Within "Tracks," setup the existing single within Tracks using the same audio, metadata, and ISRC as the original release.
Upper/lower capitalization specifications
Certain DSPs allow for specifications in release title and artist name capitalization (ie. all upper or lower case) by special request only. Please contact support@spartadistribution.com with your release information and exact request and we will do our best to accomodate.
"Waterfall" release strategy
Some artists like to use a "waterfall" release strategy for singles leading up to an album or EP. In a waterfall, new singles are setup to include the previous single(s) within the product, to drive listeners back to your previous releases. Despite having multiple tracks, the product format should still be classified as a "Single" upon setup.
