In order to deliver your video to VEVO, you must first request the creation of a VEVO channel. To submit a request, contact support@spartadistribution.com with your desired channeled name.
Important Information
- Vevo Channel requests for new artists and/or artists needing a Vevo Channel created should be submitted two weeks out from the video release date.
- Channel requests are processed on a weekly basis. Submit your request to support@spartadistribution.com no later than Wednesday 12pm ET for processing the following week.
- Requested Vevo Channel Name must be equal to or less than 20 characters including the Vevo suffix, using Letters A-‐Z and/or Numbers 0-‐9. No spaces or special characters may be used. (i.e. JohnMayerVEVO, StevieWonderVEVO, Blink182VEVO)
How to set up a profile and banner image for your VEVO channel
To update profile and banner image of your VEVO channel, submit the desired images to support@spartadistribution.com. The following rules must be adhered:
- A profile picture must be a minimum of 1000 x 1000 (maximum 5000 x 5000) pixels
- Must just be a press photo of the artist of high resolution with no text.
- A banner image must be 2560 x 1440 pixels in order to fit all screen types, such as tablets, computers, and TV’s.
- If you wish to include text or a logo on the banner image, it must be in the centre and can only be a maximum size of 1546 x 423 pixels.
- Any social media links that you want to include on VEVO can be sent to us via email too.
What if my channel name is not available?
If your desired channel name is not available, we'll ask that you choose a new name
Can the channel name be changed after it is created?
Once your VEVO channel has been created, its name cannot be changed. Extra care should be given to provide Sparta with the correct spelling of your desired channel name upon request.
