What is Whitelisting?
Any unauthorized third party uploads will automatically be claimed, blocked or monitored by Content ID systems of supported DSPs. For more information about Content ID, please refer to our document - Content ID & UGC Claiming Overview for YouTube & Facebook
Whitelisting specific profiles or channels authorizes third parties to upload your music without being flagged by the Content ID system, bypassing it entirely. Therefore, you will not get a share of the revenue generated from the content uploaded to a whitelisted channel, even if your music is prominently featured in it.

Why Whitelist an artist profile/channel?
Here are some scenarios where whitelisting is commonly used:
- I am an artist/label that wants to self-collect the revenues generated from the latest single uploaded to my YouTube channel, but Sparta claimed my videos.
- I want to upload my album to my personal SoundCloud profile, but I was notified that Sparta blocked my music from being uploaded.
- I am launching a marketing campaign for my upcoming release, and I want to make sure that my marketing agency can upload my music to their Facebook and Instagram profile without being blocked.
